A Master’s degree is a graduate (also called ‘Graduate’) program. It is an advanced degree, which you can only study once you have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degrees typically take one to two years to complete.
A dual degree (also called ‘double degree’, ‘joint degree’ or ‘blended degree’) lets you earn two degrees at the same time. They can either be from the same university, or from different universities. A dual degree takes less time to complete than it would take to study the degrees separately. Dual degrees often combine an undergraduate program with a graduate program.

All first-year students and transfer students must live on campus during their first year. Students receiving aScholarship Award are required to live on campus for at least one years, because once you get here, we think you’ll love it. In fact, many students choose to live on campus for more than one year.
Merit- and need-based scholarships are available for incoming first-year and transfer students. Test scores are not needed to apply for competitive scholarships. Applicants must submit official SAT or ACT scores for consideration of merit-based awards.
If you decide not to enroll, all you need to do, is call the Admissions Office or email to cancel your application. Your admission will automatically be cancelled and you will be removed from the university or college mailing list.

You can apply at any time of the year. Most programs accept new students at the start of the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Preparation and English Language programs for international students start in the fall, spring and summer semesters. You should apply as early as possible because the visa application process may delay your admission. We recommend that you apply at least 10 weeks before your chosen start date. If your application is too late for the start of the semester, you will be automatically considered for the next available start date.
You are encouraged to submit your application for admission before the start of the session, but it will now depends on the session you wish to apply for. Applications are still accepted after this date.
If you are applying through NGGA Ltd, it is not compulsory that First-year applicants needs to submit test scores to apply. You are required to submit an official copy of your high school transcript (sent directly from your high school).Official test scores are required of all students who wish to receive automatic consideration for merit-based scholarships. Students receive equal consideration for merit-based scholarships with either set of scores.
Transfer students will need to submit official copies of college transcripts sent directly to us from the college(s) attended. We will also need an official copy of your high school transcript (not required for students who earned an associate degree or higher at the time of application). SAT and/or ACT scores are not required for transfer students.
Test scores are not needed to apply for admission. International students will receive an admission decision based on the high school transcript. All students who wish to receive automatic consideration for merit-based scholarships must submit official test scores or an essay.

Yes. An official final transcript is required to verify proof of graduation and to record your graduation date.
Additionally, your final transcript will be reviewed by our partner Admissions Committee to verify continued academic success during the period after that covered by the transcript used at the time of your admission. To be considered official, a transcript must be sent directly to the university or college by the institution issuing the transcript. Transcripts must be stamped “issued to student”.

No, you are still considered a transfer student for the purposes of admission, and should follow the transfer student requirements on the International Student website.
We need an official transcript, but you also send us a scanned copy of your transcript by email. The accepted methods for sending an official international transcript are: From an official at your school through an official school email account, or by postal mail or an online document sending service.
Make sure the transcript have original school stamp or are certified true copies of the original document.

A course evaluation is required for transfer students who studied outside of Nigeria. This is required for the admissions committee to see your grades, so your admissibility and scholarship eligibility can be appropriately assessed. Until the evaluation is received, your application file will remain incomplete.
Additionally, the evaluation will be used in the transfer credit process and level equivalents of each course taken, to properly transfer the courses in.
Yes, you can still be admitted if your medium of instruction is in English. No, if your primary language is not English, you must demonstrate your proficiency in the use of the English Language.
When your application has been submitted,we will email you approximately after you submit your application with information on updates. Application review typically takes 4-6 weeks from the date of file completion. You will be emailed when a decision is made.
Financial documents are required post-acceptance to process the forms required for student visa applications. If you have been granted admission, you will be able to upload these documents depending on the country of study destination.
If you have been a student at an accredited university in your home country, you can apply as a transfer student. You need to submit your transfer application along with certified (English) course descriptions (optional), documented hours of instruction, and an official transcript.
Transfer credit is granted for most courses completed with a grade of C or better. Most transfer credits usually satisfy most of our university partner’s requirements.
